Objective

For more than 20 years the International High Speed Machining Conference is a meeting for experts from academia and industry in the field of machining operations to present and discuss their findings on a very high level, which stimulates and supports the knowledge in this field.

On 2025 the 18th International Conference on High Speed Machining will be organized by Université de Lorraine, CNRS and Arts et Métiers in the city of METZ and will focus on high performance machining, hybride manufacturing, tools and production machines.

The conference will provide an opportunity to compare and discuss experimental developments and theoretical research combining Material Science, Mechanics of solids or Metallurgy and and applied research particularly about Manufacturing processes
